Retro Cannabis Strains That Are Still Available Today

Updated: Jul 10, 2023

We often hear that cannabis is not the same as it was ‘back then.’ However, strains from the ‘60s and ‘70s that can still be purchased from dispensaries today. These strains help patients find relief from symptoms caused by their medical conditions.

Another misconception is that cannabis strains are not as ‘potent’ as they were back in the ‘60s and ‘70s. During that time, cannabis was often brought into the U.S. illegally and included many stems, flowers and leaves. During the 1980s Americans began to grow cannabis indoors, which significantly improved the potency of many strains. Many of the popular strains circulating during the ‘hippy generation’ didn’t have high concentrations of THC, as many of these strains were not originally grown in the U.S.

It’s great to get all this information but we still do not have product in Missouri! And COVID is no excuse! Add to that cards are coming up for renewal. We started getting cards based on Missouri‘s intended availability in Spring. They just approved cultivators. THERE SHOULD BE NO CHARGE FOR RENEWALS. Just do the right thing and automatically renew our cards.
