First Company In Missouri To Both Cultivate and Manufacture Medical Marijuana

Proper Cannabis (St. Louis) is the first first company in the state of Missouri to be granted a license to both cultivate and manufacture medical marijuana.

Proper Cannabis was granted a license to grow medical marijuana in December 2020 and just received their license to manufacture January 2021. They have a 90,000 square foot facility that will be able to grow up to 13,000 medical marijuana plants.

John Pennington, the founder and CEO of Proper Cannabis, shares that in this facility they will be able to produce 35-40 different medicinal products that will be featured in three brands. Their brand Honeybee will have six different types of artisan chocolates and edibles. These products are made by Dave Owens, a former chocolatier. They also have gumdrops, vape products and mints. Proper Cannabis plans on having their products on dispensary shelves April 2021.
